Fundamentet målte 12 x 7 meter og havde engang båret et lille kapel fra den sene middelalder. Intet af selve bygningen var bevaret. Kapellet var bygget hen over flere af de ældre grave og er derfor senere end kirkegården. <br /> <br /> Ved at kombinere skriftlige kilder med de arkæologiske fund kommer man frem til, at det sandsynligvis var dette stykke indviet jord &quot;mod nord i Stenløsemagle&quot;, som Anders Skænk i 1260 forærede til Sankt Clara Kloster i Roskilde. Nonnerne fik derefter bygget et kapel, der blev viet til Sankt Morten.<br /> <br /> <br /> '''Sankt Morten'''<br /> <br /> Sankt Morten var oprindelig soldat i den romerske hær, men konverterede til kristendommen, da han en vinterdag mødte en nøgen tigger. Med sværdet delte han sin kappe i to og gav tiggeren den ene halvdel. Snart efter forlod han hæren og gik i kirkens tjeneste. Han grundlagde et kloster i Frankrig, men da han på grund af sin hellighed blev udpeget til biskop i Tours, gemte han sig i en gåsesti.
